Why we are here
We have come to the realization that the basics of shooting, passing, and stick handling are not being taught during practice. A coach may use them in their practice as it is the basics of the game. However, they are never corrected during a practice because it is expected that the player already knows how to do them. Most coaches will brush it off that the player just doesn't have the skill, yet the coach will not or does not have the time to show the player how to improve their shot or pass. That's where the Hockey Shooting Lab comes into play.
Why You Should Come
If you struggle with making a hard shot, your passes are too slow, or you just need to improve your stick handling skills, we can help! You may be the fastest skater on the team, but if you lack one or two of these skills, you now become an average player. Players who have a hard shot rarely have an accurate hard shot. These skills are typically not focused on in practice, but by improving them can make you a standout player.
We pride ourselves with providing one-on-one lessons to focus on YOU. However, we can also work with small groups (2-4 players) to help players improve in various areas of the game.
Come to Puck Star Hockey Shooting Lab and shoot 200-300 pucks in 30 minutes and build up your muscle memory, gain the skills to fine tune your playing abilities, and improve your game! All while HAVING FUN!
What we offer to you
A 20'x35' rink of synthetic ice offers the perfect place to hone your skills. We teach lessons for shooting, passing, and stick handling. Puck Star Hockey Shooting Lab offers a variety of ways to become a better player, including having one of our USAH Level 4 certified coaches work with you. You can also rent our rink for yourself or a few friends and practice skills on your own. We can taylor-fit to your needs--just ask.
